# System accounts _(account)_

System resources are tied to accounts,
used to define access rights to use or control the resources.

Each user has a single, personal account.

Non-personal accounts can be created for roles or groups.
Use a role for resources handed over (not put on hold) e.g. during a vacation.
Use a project when multiple persons (now or later) should have equal access.

A special account "root" with full access to all system resources
is used only for administration purposes.
